good stuff, enjoyed watching the video. you have showed us the way to get started dirt cheap with your $50 workshop all the way to top of the line tools I don't know anyone that could be unhappy with that you're a great guy thanks for all you do

Izzy, you've just sold me the dust extractor!! In Bahrain (and the 240 volts world) it's Bosch GAS 55 M AFC. Unfortunately It's not available at the dealer, so I have to wait for some time till they process my order. Regarding the cyclone, I'm happy with my Oneida DustDeputy. However, I may give the Clear Vue a shot once mine fails. The vortex looks awesome and could keep an intrusive person busy :D

added a cyclone to my shop, works great. Was needing to  cleaning my filter every day.  May once a month now.  Well worth the money.  Had a add a disc in the bucket to keep bucket from collapsing on itself.

Thanks for showing your ideas. Your dust collection system seems to work exceptionally well. Bosch building the power socket into the their dust collector was a stroke of genius. The premium price is no doubt due to the smaller DIY market compared to the household vacuum cleaner market.

From South Africa. I found that the Bosch vacuums/dust collectors where spec for spec great value for money. Still expensive, but buying cheap is often not cheap in the long run. That is a nice station.

The water test was a great way to get the point across. And Bosch are some good friends to have!

I really enjoy using Bosch tools, but for that price I'd get the Festool dust extractor for $50 more.
